Okay, so they TOTALLY won me over when they told me their first dance was to Journey. That's right. JOURNEY.

So Marissa had to rock out. :)

And the family dog could NOT get enough attention.

I looooove backyard weddings. The homegrown feel, the relaxed vibe... everything. Trevor and Zoe's wedding was no exception. All the details were to die for - the hot pink and clover green colour scheme screamed summer, and the sunshine proved itself for yet another fab weekend on the coast. Tida and Greg were married this last weekend, bathed in hot July sun (despite the nasty looking clouds in the morning). When I arrived at Tida's family home it was almost surreally quiet, everyone buzzing about, calm and collected. Totally amazing. As was...

My favorite part of the day was in the car on the way back from my session with just the bride and groom, listening to Greg tell me about their engagement. He started with, "It's such a good story." And it was!

All I can say is that a) kids are cute, b) they are very different from shooting my couples and weddings and c) they are totally FUN! I spent the morning with Olivia and her baby sis back in June, and finally found the time to share them here.
