melissa and hugo [married!]

Melissa and Hugo, simply stated, are meant to be together. Their day was a complete reflection of that and their affinity for love, simplicity and Japanese culture. Here are some of my favorites...

The details, including the handmade paper bouquet

The ceremony was at the timeless Patricia Theatre

Their ceremony included elements of a traditional Japanese wedding; here the San San Kudo where the bride and groom drink three sips from three cups of Sake (let me know if I got that right, guys!)

The vintage ride

One of my favorites from the day

Are you kidding me? Another fave.

The wedding kimono and the bling

The cake was AMAZING! I looooove the cherry blossoms and the waves

I looooooove teal!

This day simply moved me - from the calm morning prep, to Melissa's grandfather walking her down the aisle, to the incredibly personal vows - I can't say enough about Melissa and Hugo - they are fantastic, fun and amazingly in love. (Stay that way!) And a million thanks for letting me be there to capture all those amazing moments. I can't wait to share the rest with you.

Jen, How can we thank you enough! The day was made even more special by your presence, by your ability to bring out the best in both your "subjects" and your stage, and by all the little extras (frappuccinos included!). Cheers -we can't wait to see the rest!
